Track Returns to Action at ERAU Invite
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The University of Tampa men's and women's track teams delivered a strong all‑around performance at the 2026 Embry‑Riddle Eagle Invite, highlighted by several standout results across sprints, distance, and hurdles.
The meet's top Spartan moment came from Madelyn Gordon, who dominated the women's 3000m steeplechase, winning the event in 11:26. Tampa also shined in the middle distances with a commanding 1–4 sweep in the women's 800 meters, led by Kendra Krueger's winning 2:13. In the sprints, Chloe Green placed 5th in the women's 100 meters (12.33), while the 4x100m relay of Chloe Green, Sarah Martinez, Molly Morris, and Allison Murphy surged to a third‑place finish in 47.84.
On the men's side, Jacob Khashou powered to a 3rd‑place finish in the 100 meters (10.53), and the 4x100m relay squad capped the day with a runner‑up time of 41.72, marking another balanced and promising early‑season showing for the Spartans.
