Spartans Top Polls for Fifth Consecutive Week

LEXINGTON, Ky. - The University of Tampa volleyball team remains the nation's top team in the latest CSTV/AVCA Division II Coaches Top 25 Poll. The Spartans received 27 of the 36 first-place votes to edge Cal State San Bernardino (5) and Minnesota-Duluth (4) as UT has now been the top-ranked team for five straight weeks.

UT has now been represented in the national top-25 for 156 straight weeks. This marks the nation's second longest current streak as Central Missouri State holds the current honors. The defending national champions have also been ranked as the nation's top team for a total of 17 weeks in program history, including six in the 2007 season.
