Margeaux Sinibaldi Named First Team Academic All-District

TAMPA, Fla. - For the second consecutive year, University of Tampa volleyball player Margeaux Sinibaldi has been awarded as an ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District team selection. The senior libero has been honored as a 2007 District 3 first-team choice after being on the second team last year.

An English major from Venice, Fla., Sinibaldi carries a cumulative grade point average of 3.88. She now advances to the national ballot where she has the opportunity to become UT's fourth volleyball academic All-American and its first since Susanne Wolmesjo in 1988.

Through four seasons at UT, Sinibaldi has excelled in both academics and athletics while leading the Spartans to the program's first volleyball national championship in 2006. With 2,112 career digs, Sinibaldi has also set new Sunshine State Conference and University of Tampa career records in the category.
