Danielle Selkridge Gathers Third SSC Player of the Week Honor
ORLANDO, Fla. - The University of Tampa's Danielle Selkridge has been named Sunshine State Conference Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week presented by VALIC. Eckerd's Olivia Fraser claimed defensive honors, as announced by commissioner Jay Jones.
Selkridge, a senior middle hitter from Tortola, Virgin Islands, averaged 4.3 kills with a .522 attack percentage to lead the No. 7 Spartans to a pair of SSC road victories. Selkridge began the week with 15 kills, two digs, and three blocks in a three-set sweep at Saint Leo. She did not commit a single error in the contest, posting a .556 hitting percentage. She then tallied 11 kills, two digs, and a block in another sweep at Florida Southern. Selkridge hit .471 in the match. For the week, she averaged 0.7 digs and blocks per set.
