Tampa Takes Sunshine State Sand Volleyball Title

TAMPA, Fla. - The University of Tampa volleyball team won the team title at the annual Sunshine State sand tournament.

Holly Reschke and Jessica Yingling lost in the final and Berkley Whaley and Jen Scholz tied for third.

Kendall Putnam and Kim Amerell tied for fifth. Jackie Neff paired with Gina Clarke to earn a tie for ninth place with teammates Kahley Patrick and Marissa Lisenbee.

A total of eight schools competed and 41 doubles teams participated.
