Tampa Volleyball Stays Perfect With Pair of Wins, Including Takedown of Ranked Opponent
TAMPA, Fla. - The No. 10 University of Tampa volleyball team won a pair of matchups on Saturday at home, defeating Emmanuel (Ga.) University by a score of 3-0 and followed with a 3-1 win over No. 24 Findlay.

HOW IT HAPPENED
First Set: The Spartans came out firing, hitting an incredible .571 as a team in the opening frame. Connor Rahn and Nathaly Perez delivered early kills while Tess Schrenger added a service ace to build momentum. Emmanuel's Ellie Jackson and Natalie Wilson kept the Lions competitive with a few swings, but Tampa pulled away behind Rahn's dominance to take the set 25-15. | Score: 25-15 Tampa
Second Set: Tampa's efficiency continued in the second, as they posted a .310 hitting percentage while limiting Emmanuel to -.026. Jenna Davis and Maddie Sofarelli added quick kills at the net, and setter Ari Lopez distributed the offense smoothly.
