Tampa Set to Host Pre-Regional Cross Country Meet

TAMPA, Fla. - The University of Tampa cross country program is set to host the Pre-Regional Meet, which will feature several top men's and women's teams. The race is scheduled for Friday at Brandon Trails.

The 5-mile men's race will begin at 5:30 p.m., with the women's 5K at 6:15 p.m.

The Spartan women have competed in two races, winning both the USF Open and UF Mountain Dew Invitational. The men were fifth and fourth respectively, at the same races.

Directions to the Sydney Dover Trail Park are as follows:
Take I-75 to Brandon exit. Go east on Highway 60 where the park is located on the left side of the street. The entrance is just past Sydney Washer Road.
