TAMPA, Fla. – The University of Tampa baseball team will host the Saint Leo Lions for a weekend series. The first pitch will be thrown at 6 pm on Friday.

About the Lions: The Lions are traveling to Tampa after opening the season with a 19-2 overall record and a 6-0 conference record. As a team, the Lions have a .325 batting average, .424 on-base percentage, and a .538 slugging percentage. Brett Coffel leads the team in batting average with .390. Peyton Isaacson leads the team with 30 RBIs. Shane Haight leads the pitching order with a 2.04 ERA while Jordan Pendleton leads with 31 strikeouts.
