TAMPA, Fla. – The University of Tampa women's basketball team will host the Saint Leo Lions on Wednesday, January 31st. The women will take the court at 5:30 pm.

Last Time Out: The Spartans hosted the Nova Southeastern Sharks and were victorious, winning with the score 76-69 and ending their five-game losing streak. Julia Ingram earned a career-high of five points. Additionally, she recorded a rebound for the Spartans. Aliyah Abney led the offense with 23 points and earned a new career high against the Sharks. Abney also led the team with two steals. Both Molly Franson and Karma Jeremie led the team on defense with six rebounds apiece. Jeremie was also the second leading point scorer with 16 points.
About the Spartans: The Spartans are led offensively by Tyghter who is averaging 12.8 points per game. She is followed by junior Jeremie and sophomore Warden with 11.6 and 9.2. As a team, the Spartans are averaging 62.3 points per game while shooting 45.6 percent from the field.
