As a Freshman (Humboldt State University): Played in 17 games for the Lumberjacks on the year at center back…Averaged 0.29 shots per game. 

High School: Played at Palos Verdes (Calif.) High for coach Derek Larkins...Earned All-California Interscholastic Federation, All-Bay League and Daily Breeze All-Area first team honors senior season...Named Bay League Defensive Player of the Year…Played club soccer on the South Bay Force and coach Pancho Diaz… During his time with the team they won both the CSL Premier and North and South California Premier titles.
